Low Carbon Vertical Farm Opens In Singapore

In Singapore it is hardly can find space to grow vegetables. According to Sky Greens, only 7% of the vegetable demand is met locally. They have just introduced a low-carbon-footprint vertical farming systems which are 9m tall housed in a protected-outdoor green house. The benefits of the systems are:
  • Lower energy and water usage
  • Better quality and higher yield
  • Year round farming
  • Consistent and reliable harvest
  • Save space
As land and water resources become scarcer and contaminated. Climate becomes unpredictable. Vegetable supply becomes unstable and price hike becomes a trend. This might be a solution to all the problems.
